Seth Bodnar Statement on Labor Day

MISSOULA, MT — Independent candidate for U.S. Senate Seth Bodnar today released the following statement marking Labor Day:

“On Labor Day, we honor the teachers, nurses, tradespeople, and public employees who keep this state running, but honoring them takes more than a speech once a year. Our broken political system is failing workers, with politicians either treating them as an obstacle to business or as a rally and a photo opportunity. Montana’s workers deserve an Independent senator who backs them with actual votes: opposing Right to Work, defending the right to organize and bargain collectively, and insisting that if you want to build in our state, you build with Montana labor. I'm proud to have earned the support of Montana’s largest unions, and I'll serve every day in the Senate as an Independent voice for the working families who built this state, never to any Party Bosses or corporate special interests.”
