Independent Seth Bodnar Signs “Protect Montana: AI Pledge,” Vows to Fight Data Centers and Hold AI Companies Accountable
HELENA, MT — Independent U.S. Senate candidate and Green Beret Seth Bodnar today signed the Protect Montana: AI Pledge, making six commitments to protect Montanans and our way of life from the dangers of a Broken System where both political parties are bankrolled by the same Big Tech and AI companies they’re supposed to hold accountable.
“Montanans shouldn't have to pay the price for decisions made by people who don't live here, don't answer to anyone here, and won't have to live with the consequences here," said Bodnar. “As Montana’s Independent Voice in the U.S. Senate I’ll stand up to anyone, whether it’s D.C. Insiders or Silicon Valley CEOs, to fight against any AI data center that raises our bills, threatens our way of life, or gets built without our approval.”
Bodnar said neither party in Washington has taken meaningful action to hold the Big Tech and AI companies accountable, “not because they don’t know it’s happening. Not because they can’t do anything about it. But because the Broken System, run by Party Bosses, lobbyists, tech billionaires and special interests, is making too much money off the status quo. You can’t put out a fire when the person handing you the extinguisher also lit the match and is paying your salary.”
Bodnar signed the pledge at a press conference in Helena this morning. Video of his remarks can be viewed on his Facebook page.
