PRESS RELEASE
Seth Bodnar Affirms His Commitment To Independent Campaign for Montana's U.S. Senate Seat
BILLINGS, MT — Today, Montana’s Independent candidate for U.S. Senate Seth Bodnar addressed media and supporters to affirm his commitment to staying in the race ahead of Monday’s deadline for candidates to drop out of Montana’s race for the U.S. Senate.
“On March 4th, I entered this U.S. Senate race as an Independent candidate because I believe Washington is broken, and neither of the national political parties is serving Montana the way it should. I believed that on the day I announced. After traveling this state for months, talking to Montanans in living rooms and diners and brewery patios, I believe it even more strongly today. My commitment to this race never depended on who was in or out. My commitment is to the people of Montana…
“So let me be clear: I am in this race until the end. I am committed to building the campaign Montana deserves…
“That’s the way I see people do it in communities across this great state and that’s what we should expect from our leaders in Washington. Our kids deserve better. Your kids deserve better. We all deserve better. This campaign isn't built around a national political party. It's built around the Montanans who have been left behind by both of them. And I believe most of us agree on a lot more than Washington wants us to think. We are not as divided as they tell us we are. Montanans are good and decent people. We are just sick and tired of the broken politics of Washington…
“Montana deserves a senator who isn't afraid of Donald Trump and who doesn't work for Chuck Schumer. A senator who works for Montana. I believe we can prove that common sense is still stronger than partisanship. That courage is still more important than party loyalty. And that our best days are still ahead of us. I believe that fight is worth having. And I believe we can win it - together. My party is Montana.”
